Who are Summits For?
Summits are for all types of congregations, but especially for those who are:
– Thriving financially and missionally and able to provide resources and leadership to others.
– Plateaued, but wanting to grow again.
– In danger of dying within five years or less unless radical steps are taken.
Who Attends? Should I Bring A Team?
You should absolutely bring a team! In fact, we often hear people say they wished they’d brought more of their team members.
We STRONGLY encourage teams of 3+ people from a congregation to attend this event. And we STRONGLY recommend the team has at least two lay leaders on it. We know volunteer burnout is a major issue amongst churches in the U.S. right now. A key way to combat this is to involve lay leaders in vision casting and planning for the future. It eliminates the feeling of “top-down leadership” and helps create buy-in and excitement amongst your people!
What’s The Timeframe?
Summits are typically held on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm.
